David Rothon is Chief Executive Officer of Ajeej Capital (AD) Limited, the Public Debt business of Ajeej Capital. David was a co-founder of AD Global Investors in October 2018 before the firm was acquired by Ajeej Capital in August 2025. He was previously the Head of the Asset Management of First Abu Dhabi Bank. David has over 25 years experience in asset management gained at several leading firms including Barclays Global Investors (Blackrock), PIMCO, Northern Trust Asset Management and Colchester Global Investors. David is also the current Chairman of the Middle East Investment Management Association. David also serves as Chairman of the Middle East Investment Management Association, reflecting his influence in shaping regional capital markets. David focuses on expanding the firm’s product offerings in emerging market debt, sukuk, and fixed income, while ensuring best-in-class client service.
