Frances Ames, CFA

Frances Ames joined Ajeej Capital in 2008 and now leads the firm’s research function. As Head of Research, she oversees the application of valuation methodologies, macroeconomic analysis, and internal training and development of analysts. She is a member of the executive and investment committees, with a focus on building the next generation of research talent at Ajeej.

Frances has a strong academic and professional background in finance, with expertise spanning multiple sectors and markets. Her work underpins Ajeej’s conviction-led investment approach, ensuring disciplined research drives all decision-making. She is also known for her ability to mentor and inspire younger colleagues.

Beyond Ajeej, Frances balances professional life with her family of four children. She enjoys running a book club, exploring her Dubai neighborhood with a camera in hand, and planning ambitious travel adventures packed with learning and discovery.
